Woke, is a kind of desperate last stand of western liberalism, with its pretentions to universalism.

The media, like the BBC/Guardian have become something close to a Church preaching 'Woke' values, like; identity, gender, diversity and racialism. The woke middle class is weighed down and consumed by... guilt, or original sin, which we have to atone for. The media is the Church and the journalists the priesthood.
