It's certainly no way to run an Empire. Everything seems... 'improvised' on the spot, with precious little strategic planning. I know they spent eight years preparing the Ukrainian army for war with Russia, but expecting the Russians to fold, seems reckless. Expecting to win, wanting to win, thinking the West has a divine right to win; is one thing, but no substitute for artillery! It's like the sanctions war against Russia. A total failure. No Russian economic collapse in sight. I know the neocons aren't all that interested in economics, but that it's so easy for them to lead the United States in one disasterous military adventure after the other, is still surprsing.
