I did have the sneaking feeling that they were doing the "tabloid reports on science paper" thing to some extent (where they reference a fairly esoteric scientific paper and then pronounce that "Coffee is good for you" or "Red Wine cures Cancer" when the truth, and the paper, is much more subtle).

I would hope it's more subtle in the case of that Judith Butler quote about "there are some situations where incest isn't traumatic and it's mostly only traumatic because of the sense of shame that is applied to it" (paraphrased). :-o
