Yes, certainly agree its a bloody minefield, one many stay away from due to the fact if you open you gob you are accused of upsetting someone, and the Transgender brigade does seem highly sensitive, apart when it comes to dishing it out to their latest victim, as witness in Auckland.

Matters used to be so simple, we had transexual persons, that is clinically diagnosed individuals who were alble to access surgery/drugs to try and change their bodies to the one they believed they were actually in - no issue with this.

Problem is, we have a new word crop up to really sow the seeds of confusion, which, is actually intentional, i.e., Transgender requires no clinical diagnosis and those claiming this new terminology do not require a clinical diagnosis to engage in hormone therapy, surgery, or, and lets be honest, just take the piss.

We've had an exponential growth in Transgenderism and support for transgenderism and this has occurred this century, regrettably, and concurrent to this has been the growth of the internet and social media platforms, meaning what was once underground, or restricted to campuses has escaped into the general population and institutions, thus we've now got to the stage that those juniors under 12 can now determine what bloody gender they are - sounds crazy to me.
