Think of the King of Siam's old "white elephant" which he gave to uppity princes to keep them down because the necessary rituals and expenses were intended to bankrupt the owner...but hey! it's just such a "great honour" for an ally to receive them:
" A possession that its owner cannot dispose of, and whose cost, particularly that of maintenance, is out of proportion to its usefulness."
The US (Raytheon) of course simply doesn't want anyone to know just how useless so they can keep on shipping their expensive elephants to the other silly courtiers of the Potus. I really wouldn't be surprised if they did pull the other out and scuttled off with their missile between their legs whilst the Corporate media cover the retreat with ludicrous claims of great success.
The depth of its failure is illustrated in recent events in Ukraine and compared to the F-35 its truly exponential. Even putting aside the claimed Russian destruction of a system for the moment, if we focus on what we actually know for a certainty there were 32 missiles launched in two minutes to apparently no effect...with no air explosions whatsoever.
-Any system that can burn up at least $100 million of its precious armaments in less than two minutes to no effect is an absolute failure.
Again, this just illustrates the stark difference between a Military Industrial Complex configured for profit like the US and one like the Russian more configured for actual warfare.
