Yes and no.

It was personal to me. It affects me deeply. Not so much my future but the future of my children and grandchildren.

But, it's also a universal message. The very real possibility of the extinction of humanity - and much else besides - because of our own stupidity.

An evolutionary rupture. But bacteria etc will survive as they always have done.

In the scheme of things overall perhaps of little consequence. That's being rational.

Emotionally though - and we are emotional beings - a ####ing tragedy.
