Imo, in this particular segment of Mercouris' monologue he analyses Blinkens' recent statements and concludes that neocon wing of the State Dept recognises that 'unipolar moment' has arrived. And then focusing on China makes sense, an' all that (eyes roll). We can just hope that in their 'death rattle' they shan't press the button. If they had any sense they would concentrate on their domestic issues etc.
