Imperialism? Please! What on earth does he think the eastward march of NATO, absorbing virtually the entire old Warsaw Pact was? And, I suppose the United States with a military presence that's unrivaled and a military budget that dwarfs that of the rest of the world, isn't an empire and therefore, it must be the great, lumbering giant of imperialism for centuries? Did the creation of the United States itself, across the North American continent, committing genocide in the process, not qualify as imperialism?
