Finally we get a definition of the China Threat. Read carefully: China is a threat because one day US might not be a threat to it.

People are going to get up in arms over this but I don't think they should. In fact, thank you @ElbridgeColby for the honesty and straight talk. Much preferable to the Orwellian Doublespeak of "de-risking" and other crap the Biden Administration and EU Commission has been pushing.

This is not just what China itself has been saying is behind this "China threat" but what many of us the rest of us have for a long while: US simply wants to remain a threat to everyone. The world in which US is not a threat to China-and by extension everyone-is simply not a world worth having according to the US establishment.
