Oddly enough, my Guardian-reading friend is in agreement with me on Julian Assange, the proxy war in Ukraine, Keir Starmer and almost any other topic you care to mention. I regularly send him links to items on Lifeboat News, which I know he reads and appreciates. He even refers to the paper as "the fraudian" and yet reads it every day -- I think still the print edition. He's been reading it since a student, and is now retired, but the habit is so ingrained he'd feel lost and the day wouldn't start without it.
