Well... back in the days of Punk, we held a 'Nazi Party' at Uni one stoned and drunken Saturday. I remember hearing the Sex Pistols number 'Belsen was a Gas', or was that a Sid Vicious solo number?

Anyway none of the young people there were Nazis. It was, I think, an attempt to ridicule the Nazis and take their most cherished symbols and dilute their power by surrounding them with sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll!

Today, in these puritanical, correct, times, we seem to be doing the opposite by making more and more words and symbols forbidden again and this alone makes them more powerful.

I went as an SS officer. At least the top half of my uniform was fantastic. Only I dropped the riding breeches and boots of shiny, shiny, leather, for a rather fetching ballerinas costume below.
