The gender of the person making the allegations, should, in principle, have no bearing on the possible veracity of the allegations pertaining to violence.' - they did (eventually) make this exact point, noting that Israel's refusal to allow independent investigation is a huge red flag, along with the fact that they are somehow unable to provide any picture or video evidence aside from a few debunked examples despite cameras being everywhere and even Hamas fighters managing to carry gopros with them. Tend to agree on your intellectual labyrinth point, and I did feel like they were overcomplicating it when a simple 'no evidence = no story' might have sufficed. It's their background in American/Canadian higher education, I guess. Maybe it's important to formulate it in that way to persuade those people too, I don't know... I
