'There is a fear of being raped, there is a fear of dying ... I was frightened,' she said, adding that the presence of his wife in the house had given her some reassurance - even though the woman treated her with hostility.
'His wife was outside the room with the children. That was the only reason he didn't rape me,' Schem said.'
The monster! And later we have:
'The interview came on the heels of her first public broadcast in which she described her ordeal and declared: 'Everyone [in Gaza] is a terrorist.'
'You're afraid that something will happen at any moment. They would throw me food once a day, some days they wouldn't. The children would open the door and look,' she said.
'You are talked about and laughed about. Once this little boy, my sister's age, entered the room with a bag of sweets. He came to me, opened the bag, closed it and left. It's evil… how evil.''
Thank God the IDF hasn't stooped to this level of barbarity! Beggars belief... I note the Daily Heil has peppered the article with photos and videos of her very scantily dressed. Can't think why she became 'one of the most high-profile captives'... but of course we must only blame Arabs for the 'inappropriate' sexual exploitation of young women. No Heil readers raping her with their eyes, of course...
I also liked this anonymous claim:
''I was dehydrated for 51 days, they didn't give us water, they are inhumane,' one unnamed woman said.''
Some kind of miracle there by the sounds of it! Also, there's no explanation for why there might have been some kind of overall water shortage, or why food became scarce, or why medical operations had to be conducted without anaesthetic. No, the captors were only acting this way out of spite, hoarding all that good stuff for themselves...
