For all the matches, each player's name up on screen is accompanied by their national flag. With two exceptions: any Russian or Belorussian player has not a flag, but a blank box.

This has been the practice at every tennis tournament since early 2022. Even the recent NZ Open in Auckland blanked out the Russian and Belorussian flags.
The commentators have been well trained: they do not ever mention the word "Russian" when talking about a player, so utterances like this are common: "The Finnish player Emil Ruusuvuori is expecting a tough match against Daniil Medvedev."
These matches are being covered by Murdoch's Sky Sport; it further underlines just how subservient these big broadcasting companies are to the state.
