I thought Tucker probably felt somewhat protected, being from a high profile family (the Swansons, Richard Carlson, etc), in the same way that Max Blumenthal maybe does being Sydney Blumenthal’s son.
I hope they are both right, because they are both very valuable voices in their knobless oblige, so to speak.
I also thought about how far Tucker has come since his useless preppy days on Crossfire, where he replaced, if I recall correctly, Pat Buchanan who really was quite a rightwing heavyweight intellectually. I am impressed how far Tucker Carlson has come now, irrespective of whether he precisely reflects my own views on various things.
