I should point out that there's also a real element of dishonest in Ramsays attack on Murray.
He quotes Murray:
"It is not that any of the arguments are new. It is simply that before I did not believe that the West would sponsor mass ethnic cleansing and genocidal attack on the Donbass by extreme Ukrainian nationalist-led, Western-armed forces."
...Ramsay then goes on to talk of how he consequently "Googled" for evidence on a "Genocide" in Donbas and found nothing outside Russian claims, therefore Craig had clearly been taken in by pesky Ivan and his legendary "Russian Disinformation".
In fact the ommited context makes it clear Craig was not talking about a genocide that had already taken place in Donbas but one he (and many others) believed immanent but which was consequently nipped in the bud & pre-empted by the Russian SMO. It continues directly:
"...I thought the “West” was more civilised than that. I now have to face the fact that I was wrong about the character of the NATO powers.
The alternative to Putin’s action probably was indeed massacre and ethnic cleansing."
-As it follows on from what he selected to quote I can only conclude Ramsay deliberately ommmited this to deliberately distort Craig's meaning, allowing him to take his straw man trip to Google.
- That's serious stupidity or serious dishonesty....and on that choice, well, we know the guy's not stupid.
In my view it qualifies him for membership of the Paul Mason sect of Imperialist fake lefties and security service shills.
