He's at least trying to prevent the hasbara trolls from just deflectig and launching into their prepared talking points but it's in no way harsh enough, and nowhere in my post do I suggest that it is or that is perfect. Surely even if it is the equivalent of the routine, "Do you condemn Hamas?" badgering then it's more equal than previously, albeit not particularly constructive?
It's already been noted, most effectively by Ali Abunimah of Electronic Intifada, that the strongest reaction to the apartheid state's genocide has only come about when some Brits have been killed. He tweeted quite savagely against the head of the aid organisation they were from, as he had previously been supporting their "right to defend themself", etc.

He's also slipped into the "shady security company, ex-special force" stuff that I noted in a post above but nobody's perfect and when it comes to Palestine Ali is one of the strongest voices.
