Thanks. They are really going bananas. Simplest way is to contain this sludge in isolated/insulated pools and cart it away to 'somewhere', the place that can wait for the half-life of the radioactive material before getting released into the environment. This is assuming that these are not heavy radioactives, so to speak. To do the cleanup, let's hope in short term, costs a lot of money .. say no more. Long term ... incalculable.
I think we talked about this before noting the escape of 'chemicals' in our UK water-tables in the event of fracking over here.
