Seems there's plenty of objection to the apartheid state's continued presence among spectators, other singers and pretty much the only ones wanting them still in there is the organisers/the apartheid state.

Hopefully they will have trouble keeping the lid on it and it will escalate into a full on revolt with all the countries except israhell joining in a "We are the world" style "Say no to apartheid" extravaganza while the TV producers desperately try to cut and divert. Doubtful, but there's going to be some kicking off at least.
