Wow. Hedges is always pretty bleak because he tells the truth but he really is on fire lately. I presume his backround as a seminary student and war correspondent really causes him such anger at the apartheid state's butchery but I don't think he has a peer when it comes to conveying the outrage that people feel at this.

Jonathon Cook is closest probably but he doesn't have the emotive rhetorical flair that Hedges does.

It's weird to describe an article describing such terrible acts as great but that really is great, even for him. Really moving and they do not have any defence to his accusations.
