And might this tight-rope policy be allowing the Biden Campaign to assert it is ‘winning’ in Ukraine; Putin is portrayed as trembling before the threat of war..."


Interesting that he picks up on the Reuters piece as "disinformation". "Conjunct narrative" it surely is, but look to the substance behind the bluster. As I said the other day:"...it looks more like Reuters flying a kite for their UK / CIA masters."

My take is that the diplomatic back channels are so bad that this article represents an informal western proposition mooting that they would accept a ceasefire at: "current contact line frontlines".

-In other words it's a negotiational opening gambit.
