I agree with you although I probably sound a bit harsher than I mean to (hard to have too much sympathy for Biden though given his record, outside of basic humanity which I still have some shred of left 
)

...no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
