"What gets me is how naive Corbyn must have been not to suss him out..."
-It's hard to work out why Corbyn did nothing at all to curb all those who ended up trashing him and his allies: his failure handed them the Labour party on a plater.
On Starmer, there can be no naievity even before the inevitability of him become a prime minister. (Much as I would like to see Andrew Feinstein whip his arse). He's a moraly vacuous unprincipled stooge for the security state.

Reminder: Keir Starmer played a pivotal role in the persecution of Julian Assange.
He “flouted legal precedents by advising Swedish lawyers not to question Assange in Britain,” and “when the Swedish legal team expressed hesitancy about keeping Assange’s case open, his office replied ‘Don’t you dare get cold feet’.”
He also visited Washington four times during this period and destroyed the records of his trips.
Starmer is a vile, lying, undemocratic, authoritarian charlatan who will push through draconian enhancements to the police state, erode any journalistic freedoms he can, and suppress any criticism of the empire that he is able to.
Strategically reducing Labour’s majority should be the single biggest goal of anyone who cares about justice when it comes to the upcoming General Election.
