That these chumps have watched all the way through the trumped up Swedish accusations, the UK submission to US extra-territorial legal authority, the subjection of a man who poses no danger whatsoever to the public to isolation in a tiny cell in a high security jail, the endless perverse shenanigans of UK courts and governments to keep him there for years on the sole UK crime of jumping bail on charges that never were...and yet the chumps are still whittering on in the Guardian about how very important "the rule of law" is.



After all the above...it's delusional. Can they not see that the "rule of law" they claim to respect has been cogently dismantled before their eyes in this very case and shown to be little more than a thin veneer of supposed rules which mask the fact that raw power decides: not truth, not law, not the fucking Magna Carta? That law ultimately does what it is told by the powerful?
When the charge is, as here, revealing the crimes of the self same powerful, then the pretence of impartial law and independent judiciary quickly becomes a self evident charade.

I suppose there are implications to admitting the obvious..that our law is as corrupt as our politics, that the entire system is a threadbare fraud & that the king has no clothes...so they must pretend very,very hard...not to know.
