I always thought the trumpster fire had said it was his dad that was the Zodiac? Either way, it's obviously a completely normal, sane country where candidate for the presidency make claims like this and everyone shrugs it off.

David Fincher's film is excellent btw (both from a cinematic perspective and as "true crime") as is the book "Zodiac Unmasked" by Robert Graysmith (which the film followed quite a lot) if you are into digging around in that kind of thing.

Then there's "The Most Dangerous Animal of All" by Gary L Stewart who believes HIS father was the Zodiac killer. There's also a netflix series on that but apparently he starts off making an interesting case but then it all falls apart (I've neither read the book nor seen the series but read some articles reviewing both).

Cruz is a sociopathic shitbag though so I'm all for anything that casts him in a bad light.
