After a few posts about the Trump shooting and conspiracy I found my self thinking, assuming the "deep state"/rulers/oligarchs, etc. DON'T want Trump, what outrage could they possibly confect that would cause his base to stop voting for him in large enough numbers that he would lose?

The answer I came up with was, nothing. There's nothing they can throw out there that would make the MAGAts turn away. So, I thought of it from the other direction. Now Harris is going to be the candidate, they could possible create some sort of outrage (probably race/identity/decency related) that they claim has energised anti-Trump voters so much that they turn out in record numbers and swing the battleground states to Harris, enough to get her elected with some carefully placed thumbs on scales.

I'm getting this out there so if something like it happens I can point to it and look like a genius and if nothing like it happens, no one will remember. That's how this pundit lark works, right?
