Majdal Shams residents tell of scenes of horror after children who had gathered to play football were struck


They've hardly bothered covering the last, what, five or six thousand?, deaths in Gaza but now these 12 get their own article with pictures and the town in mourning. You know why the bereaved in Gaza couldn't do the same? Because they were either dead, dodging bombs and bullets or displaced.

I can't recall ANY victims of an ANY apartheid state strike being covered like this and NONE without the usual "but the IDF says this didn't happen and that didn't happen" which is completely absent from this account.


Disgraceful. Not that I dismiss the horror and depravity of these deaths. It's the selective outrage that makes me sick.
