It is indeed a great resource. And being able to have or observe discussions with informed, well intentioned people gives comfort and fellowship in these terrible times.

Re the unending and ever more depraved horrors being perpetrated by Israel and the west on the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, I find that listening to the Electronic Intifada's weekly live broadcast (available later as a podcast) somewhat dispels hopelessness and despair. They don't sugarcoat what's going on but somehow, being aware of and facing it puts it into context and that helps.
