As someone who resides in the People's Republic of China, a part that used to be administered (exploited) by the British, I'm sick of the anti-Chinese crap coming out of the UK MSM - if Chinese society and its Rulers were so bad, we'd see a mass expdus from China, particularly by those who have enjoyed a Western Higher Education education - this has not happened, quite the reverse indeed, one reason China is leaping ahead of the West in Science and Technology.

As it stands, in Hong Kong I can access more websites/web platforms than peeps in the UK/EU, i.e., not too many bans and, if something falls foul of Chinese law, you can use a VPN, which most savvy Chinese youth have been doing for more than 15 years with little 'crack down'.

China may not be a perefect society, but compared to the West and its fascist direction I'd prefer my own nipper growing up in China than in a society that is literally imploding.
