Radoslaw Sikorski is not mentally well. It is expected from the guy who went through "elite" British "education" which is Pembroke College where they teach anything but the sound understanding of the outside world. So, when you are the product of this degree mill, Polish nationalist and are married to a fanatical Russophobe Anne Applebaum, what do you expect?
NATO does not want to become directly involved in a conflict with Moscow, the US-led bloc's spokesperson said on Monday, addressing demands from Ukraine and statements by Poland’s foreign minister. Kiev has repeatedly asked its Western backers to shoot down Russian missiles and drones in its airspace, as its own air defenses became degraded. A security pact to that effect was signed with Warsaw in July. “NATO is not a party to the conflict and will not become a party to it,” a spokesperson for the bloc told the Spanish news agency Europa Press, adding that the bloc’s responsibility is to “prevent escalation.” While each member of the bloc has the right to protect their own airspace, they should “closely consult” with others when doing so “can affect NATO as a whole,” the spokesperson said. Their comments followed an interview by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski to Financial Times, in which he endorsed the idea of shooting down Russian targets in the sky over Ukraine. “When hostile missiles are on course of entering our airspace, it would be legitimate self-defense, because once they do cross into our airspace, the risk of debris injuring someone is significant,” Sikorski told FT.
Remarkably, Sikorski, being a Foreign Minister of the country which is finishing its deindustrialization and having never produced any real air defense complex, evidently fails to understand that:
1. Poland is free to shoot down any Russian missiles entering Poland's air space. It is totally expected from Poland and it is her sovereign right.
2. If Poland decides to shoot down any Russian missiles striking targets inside 404 borders, even if it is near Poland's borders, I have news for him--whatever crap NATO provided Poland with in terms of air defense, such as Patriot PAC3, SMTP, or even Aegis Ashore with SM-3 or even SM-6--those are useless against: a) Kinzhal b) 3M22 Zircon c) Iskander et al.
So, Sikorski is just in his (and his spouse's) impotent rage from understanding that his and Poland's only job in NATO is to give blowjobs to Uncle Sam. That's his role. As per Polish "volunteers", they will continue to be killed in former 404 and the best thing Poland, a third tempo military "power", can do is to look slightly further into the future and see themselves being disposed by Uncle Sam as a used condom after highly unpleasant and unsatisfying coitus... for Poles, of course. So, reaction of NATO, Washington that is, was rather predictable and could be summarized in a few words: shut up and take your place, or position, depending on the acts to be performed. It sucks to be ambitious nobodies in geopolitics.
Meanwhile, Russians still love Poles and Polish culture and Polish memes are beloved in Russia.
So, Sikorski should pay attention to the affairs of his own country, even being a foreign minister, and see how drunk Poles, while working like bydlo, talk to Polish beavers))).
