One really has to wonder what Lammy thinks has being reneged on?

I suspect it's the US "Rules Based Order" that no-one signed up for but which European heads of state slavishly claim to follow...even though they don't actually know the rules untill the US makes them up on a whim.

The only rule we know of the "International Rules Based order" is the fact that if the US allows it then it's part of the rules based order:
the genocide in Gaza for example. Murdering the locals to aid a colonial enterprise is obviously well within the rules as the US sponsor and pay for it all. What's not to like?
