Yea. There are two advantages Israel has that should never be discounted. Firstly it would be very difficult for it to run out of bombs or go bankrupt as it has a fairy godfather in the US with slavish devotees in all arms of government feeding its excess wishes, and secondly it is of course ultimately a nuclear state, so it's actual existence can't be jeopardized directly without bringing us all to the edge of extinction...or beyond.

Yet observing the absolutely & totally propagandised rabid state of the Israeli public it's hard to see a softer approach prevail.

it's also a thin hope that perhaps material greed & selfishness will sustain a wish to be alive and overcome the eschatological death cults infesting the Israeli & US mindset which is venomously mixed through all this.
