I love the UK, it's my old home, I like the people, the countryside, the history, but you're all being betrayed and most of your fellow citizenry don't know it. They know something's wrong, seriously wrong, but it's inchoate, a sense of impending disaster about which no-one has any control any longer. Is disaster the right word, impending chaos, impending adversity? I don't know. But there's definitely something rotten in the air. and the people can smell it.
