Well, Blinken scurried straight from meeting Netanyahu and the Israeli " defence" minister... to:

We can put two and two together & figure there's a big deal being offered to the Saudis and having met the Israeli defence minister just beforehand I somehow doubt it's to "Ease" conflict or for " Peace" but it will certainly be conflict based.

The Intel leak of attack plans by one faction of the US gov. gave the Israelis a potential "off-ramp" concerning their proposed attack...the planrning of which, according to the Daily poison intimately involved the Brits btw:

It's also notable in the media recently that the Israelis have been renewing the Iran threats...so maybe the off ramp is being ignored...which is bad news. Anywise, behind the Blinken "peace" bluster we can see him taking some major offer from the Israelis to the Saudi's for something they want. And if the Israelis do intend to make the hit against Iran they probably need the Saudis for attack logistics...so is this what Blinken is really feeling out?

The Saudis have if course been flirting with the Iranians recently...but I have no doubt that if the US offered a big enough bone: a major role in a newly reordered middle East or some such, it might seem attractive enough to the vain-glorious bin Suleman to get him to drop the Iranian flirtation and return to the last chance salon & the loving embrace of the "US rules based order"
