In short, a 'highly-skilled and completely neutral' (ahem) Telegraph 'journalist' re-tweeted a photo of Police standing with Pakistanis in Manchester with a flag and the word Pakistan visible, but she understood this as being pro-Palestinian protesters in London and tweeted "condemning the Metropolitan police: “How dare they. Invited to pose for a photo with lovely peaceful British Friends of Israel on Saturday police refused. Look at this lot smiling with the Jew haters.”
Following complaints and a visit from the police, she's being defended across the board - high on BBC 'news' page, Daily Mail, Standard, Sun, google her name for yourself ... - with this being painted as a 'kafkaesque assault on free speech'.
Calling people "Jew haters" because of their skin colour / nationality is certainly racist; regardless of the fact her inadequacy as a journalist and clear zionist leanings popped out and meant she insulted completely the wrong people on a completely false basis.
Compare with actual journalists sharing truths of Israel's war crimes and lies, eg Asa Winstanley, targeted much more heavily by UK police.
Jonathan Cook tells it very well; but useful for die-hard aunty-lovers and those with faith left in any of the mainextreme to see their defence of her for themselves.
