The Grayzone's guest from Aleppo is much more pessimistic about the prospects of the Syrian government capturing lost ground so easily especially in the country's largest city. His outlook is grim (in contrast to the optimism of commentators like Scott Ritter on the abilities of the Axis of Resistance) which is understandable as he has family stuck in Aleppo surrounded by wahabi extremists and knows how much pain the city went through expelling them years ago.
