Seems like Syria is going to fall to the head choppers and the US and the media can all dance around pretending they are democracy loving rebels again.

If this is true and progresses, it's happened much faster than any of the commentators expected. It was looking fairly certain of some kind of partition but now it looks like it may be full regime change. I keep hoping they are just letting them over-extend and plan to unleash some cut-off/mop-up type of operation.

Trump says the US should have nothing to do with the conflict in Syria

President-elect Donald Trump said on Saturday the U.S. should not be involved in the conflict in Syria, where rebel forces are threatening the government of president Bashar al-Assad.

“Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT. LET IT PLAY OUT. DO NOT GET INVOLVED!” Trump said in a post on his social media platform Truth Social.

LOL. Ever alert to a PR opportunity he talks like he's living up to his "no war" campaign while knowing full well that the US are neck deep in the Syria operation but until he gets back in the chair he can say shit like this.
