Glad that Vanessa was able to get out because it probably wouldn't go well for her in Syria now.

I imagine a lot of ordinary people are happy that Assad is gone. Seems like Syria has had ruthless oppressive government for a long time. I know that's not only due to the leaders but neither are they innocent.

This feels like Libya all over again (which is no doubt the goal of those behind the scene). Highly unlikely that the people will now get peace, human rights, stability and good governance. More likely it will be meet the new boss, same as or worse than the old boss. Probably the latter.

Israel as always has their eye on the ball, grabbing territory at every opportunity.
