It was part 1 and when we got back to Hull, we decided to have an episode or two and watched the lot. Neither of us had seen it since the 70s (this was the early 90s). We got part 2 sharpish. I liked the way that a Roman goblet kept turning up and the tesselated floor moved about as if it was a sheet with printing on it; ingenious these Romans.
