Re: Alistair Campbell: 6 tips on how to disagree agreeably
I don't think the fact that Campbell is in many folk's minds guilty of war crimes, should necessarily disbar him from commenting on how to debate and argue. He hasn't actually been charged of such, and is a free man, sadly. It's a very reactive way of dealing with such men and women, when you've found them guilty of some past crime or they are serious political foes, such that nothing they do or say is worth anything, and they're merely there for you to sling accusations against them whenever they appear. Very left-wing, and pretty pointless. This posting seems to have appeared merely to shoot the man down. Whatever you think of him, he may have something useful to impart, which you can chose to listen to or ignore as is appropriate for you. Why not make the effort to comment on what he's actually saying? Nor are you forced to listen to his and Rory Stewart's podcast. Most of you don't like Rory Stewart either, but he wrote a very entertaining and illuminating book, Politics on the Edge, on his political experiences which I thoroughly enjoyed.
