He appears to give some credence to Trump's claims on Greenland, by suggesting it is part of the American continent, he thinks. That's true, but it has been part of Europe's political map for nigh on a thousand years. The nearest part of Greenland to the US is around 1,200 km. The nearest part of Greenland to Canada is about 25 km. I think the Canadians have a better claim than America if it were to be decided by geography.
