Ask this utter futility to power the other utter futility of AI server farms when the consumer/citizen will be on the hook for the cost - the system being introduced that the upfront costs will be loaded onto the consumer before a single electron is produced. - called a Regulated Asset Base model.
The UK is stuffed with leadership like this.
It all smacks of total desperation, clutching at fuel rods and betting the future on the server farm.
And you can guarantee the media won't have a clue how to react this nonsense.
Asked by the BBC's Chris Mason if "build baby build" was his mantra like US President Donald Trump's "drill baby drill", Sir Keir said: "I say build baby build. I say we're going to take on the blockers so that we can build."
He said the government had already changed the rules to allow onshore wind farms and was now acting to ensure "we can fast forward on nuclear".
To which I might wonder "What could possibly go wrong?" This is a nuclear HS2 project, as sensible, as well thought through, as rational, as robust, just as glorious, yet another technological triumph in the making for the UK, and just as environmentally friendly one presumes
