And 3 Labour councillors (2 men, one woman) from the Tameside ward have resigned. Not sure if this means local elections have to be called.

All these are from my area of the north-west, which doubles the hand-rubbing satisfaction. Tameside is an area adjacent to Stockport which previously, I believe, was a staunch Tory bastion. It would seem to be a toxic culture of New Labour hereabouts, with (at least) two Labour MPs and three Labour councillors on the Trigger Me Timbers app. Keep you posted on any further casualties.
