I've only just watched this. I thought the point of the original post was the spat with his wife, as your heading indicates.

But the New York thing is more confusing than clarifying. I couldn't hear what the man in the crowd was shouting at him, or the woman. I wouldn't have known it was an anti-genocide protest if you hadn't said so. All I distinctly heard was Baldwin saying "I want peace for Gaza".

Have I missed something?
