Normally I'd accept Sleboda as a very good authority on all things Russian etc .. meanwhile, fwiw, he made a minor gaffe in saying that the meeting between Ukr and USA was in Riyadh. Ooops, it was in Jeddah. Facts are facts. Hence I pricked up my ears in what he had to say next ..

Now, Sleboda was certainly good on the background to the SMO in general, but, I felt he was somewhat superficial in describing the situation on this meeting in Jeddah.

In essence he presents the 'problem' as much more complex, not that I agree with all of it, but definitely worth considering.
