These days the boss class doesn't bother to hide their crimes, the state broadcasters and corp-0-rat media do it for them. In the old days there were reports from abroad and documentaries about neo-colonialism and the debt bondage inflicted on ex-colonies. These days you have to look for it, which is difficult if you don't know that there is anything to look for.
