I agree it isn't antisemitic, and he's careful to refer to 'zionists' rather than 'jews' throughout, but the use of the dehumanising parasite analogy is just begging to be taken out of context and used against the movement. I don't like how my mind automatically winces at these things, which is probably a learned reaction after all the bad faith smear campaigns launched by the pro-israel lobby - a reaction they were deliberately trying to inculcate in their critics & the general public. Also, what the Yoof call 'tone policing' comes into play, defending the power interests by forcing the oppressed to avoid any kind of emotive speech or forbidden words or phrases, which limits dissent by design. But it's probably still good practice to leave ad homs and dehumanising analogies to one side, if only to not stoop to the same level. cheers, I
