That's the type of response, Ian, of someone who doesn't want to think about it and is dismissive or downplaying some alarming information from government documents, ex-officials who you deem not to be categorised as evidence. For all our sake I hope you're right and the 'science' stacks up, for example from the website you posted...I will read though it when I get a chance. That still leaves many unanswered questions though, as you allude to (the government announcement strongly suggests they've already been doing it). Most alarming for me is what I can see and hear with my own eyes. I haven't found an explanation as to the massive increase in trails across the sky where I live, creating a haze on some days...the regular distant roar of jet engines when before they were rare. There hasn't been a change in flight path over our area or such a massvie increase in commercial jets to that extent so I'm still looking for an explanation. Even in the best case scenario of them being contrails somehow, it is a horrendous level of increased pollution in our skies that lingers. I'd show you the pictures I took if only I could figure out how to post the damn things on this board and you'd see they're in no way normal.

I agree that Jimmy should have a climate scientist on to debunk the nonsense he's entertained before but that's a separate topic. As his guest said, discussing this shouldn't in any way downplay the levels and damage other forms of pollution have on our planet. The main issue is the fact that the government has now admitted their 'plans' to fuck with the weather and this should be completely unacceptable to any rational person. We did not consent to this and such a 'high-risk' intervention as even they've called it, should be discussed more and cause a much greater concern than currently is seen.
