"It is with this entirely bogus premise in mind that they sell to themselves – and try to sell to us, via complicit platforms such as Sky News and the Guardian – the idea that anyone who opposes the mass slaughter and starvation of Gaza’s children is “involved” too, that they must have favoured the murder of Israeli civilians on 7 October 2023, and therefore they secretly harbour a desire to see all Jews wiped out"
Shama must somewhere have written a very good book that would explain his high standing, because his popular Kings-and-queenery history of Britain is much inferior to very readable work in the same vein by Winston Churchiil and his research assistants. These three middling talents at least prove you don't have to have a brilliant mind to be Jewish
All three remember feeling a bit outsiderish at Oxbridge. The pain of it. All three see themelves, along with Baddiel and Fry as survivors of Jeremy Corbyns pogroms; their sufferings have not been given due attention. Particularly wounding was Diane Abbots suggestion that UK Jews, -a successful and comfortable group on any metric -might suffer less day to day discrimination than people with black or brown skins.
