And it didn't disappoint. It was as dreadful and fake as you might have foreseen it would be.
Two of the panel (not sure if they were MPs or what) immediately launched in the mindless mantra of "We support Israel's right to defend itself." No mention at all that on that very day over 50 men, women and children had been slaughtered by missiles and bombs -- as has happened every day this week.
But of course Fiona Bruce had to top the list of repugnant BBC hacks by adding after the "debate" that there had been fewer questions asked about Gaza (by the audiences presumably) this week than in previous weeks. Which immediately raises the question of why then wasn't Gaza debated before now if there were more questions in the past than this week? To my knowledge it hasn't been discussed as a subject here for weeks if not months.
What a shameful travesty bollox of programme this is.
